I desperately want to incorporate more color into my wardrobe, and reading this post makes me think about getting "staples" to base my wardrobe on. A lot of times I have felt "left out" of fashion, at first because I couldn't find fashionable clothes in a size 24, and now because I am in the process of losing weight, and my wardrobe has pretty much disappeared. Being a smaller size makes it easier to find clothes, but I don't want to buy new pieces because I'm still transitioning through sizes. However, seeing this made me realize that I can get a great scarf, a nice variety of shoes, a standout bag, etc. and use those to anchor my temporary wardrobe until my body size evens out. Thanks for making this post, it was an eye opener for me. I just love your style. I just love my little collection and I "accidentally" got more at a garage sale over the weekend. I found an old suede handbag and just peeked inside because it was really heavy and saw some sewing pins and a small jar of buttons so I thought it was some little old ladies sewing bag and when I got it home ...SCORE! It was full of costume jewelry and some really nice scissors. Got the whole thing for 50 cents!!! Sorry about the humungo post! =) I have several vintage clip-ons, too!
