new apartment!
we’ll be moving into our new place this coming weekend…FINALLY!! and if all goes well, our things should arrive this coming monday or tuesday. i am THRILLED, to say the least…living in this temporary place hasn’t been terrible, but there is something to be said for having your own familiar and well-loved things around you. even little things like the forks and knives and sheets you’re used to. it’s as if we’ve been living in a glorified hotel for over a month. it would be one thing if we were traveling/doing something enriching and fun, but alas…
anyway, i took some quick and dirty shots this evening when peter and i stopped by the new place to meet with our landlord/upstairs neighbor(s) (one in the same), get the keys, and tour the empty apartment:
