patch (entranced)
i’m overflowing with patchy love for the following:
this strip patch tote that goes by the name spring fever by jenny of frecklewonder! it exudes a lovely vintage charm. the bright colors are more than ace!:
this patchwork tote by cyn contemporary over at etsy is a bit more subdued and not my typical colors, but i love the octogons, the wooden handle, and the tabs at the top edge that add a little extra detail:
i covet these patchwork blankets and pillows by mes textiles, out of the netherlands. i’m actually going to amsterdam at the end of april. i’m hoping to seek out their work when i’m over there…
i’m not into metal, but i think these handmade patchwork blankets by seattle quilt artist boo davis (aka quiltsryche…killer name!) rock:
i love the juxtaposition of something sweetly homespun with something some might consider devilish. awe. some.

emilyhey tricia – i’m an old glitter person from way back, was mostly a lurker so i doubt you’d remember me, but i love reading your journal and checking out your work and inspirations! this patchwork-related entry made me think you should go here, if you haven’t seen her work already: http://www.ruthbmcdowell.com — cheers!

ambikaI obsess over colors, over types of fabric, over animals–it had never occurred to me (despite having quilters as friends) to see patchwork as something that can be used on anything other than quilts–or old jeans. These bags are fabulous. I’ll be rethinking my idea of what to fixate on.

VantianiTricia, I adore your blog and everything in it. I have been checking it everyday for the last one week. I’m Vantiani, from Jakarta-Indonesia. And I would like to show you my crafts:

And what do you think about them? I collect patches and I start to make things out of it lately. Got one commisioned work too for a wall hanging. Some of them are hand sewn and some machines. I really, really inspired by you and your work that I am thinking of learning how to knit and quilting too lately. Thank you Tricia, so much, You rule.
