   I just read youre planning to go to Amsterdam soon… May i recommend the cute little city of Maastricht in the Netherlands as well? Its about 2,5 hours by train from Amsterdam and has a wonderful atmosphere. I just happen to live there

   anouk: i have actually been to Maastricht before, the last time i was in the netherlands! it is very cute, and i would like to go back. we haven’t nailed down the exact details of the trip, so who knows, perhaps we will get back there soon. we have friends in aachen, which is very close to there, perhaps we will visit them again. but in general, the reason we are in the netherlands is for business…a conference my husband is speaking at, and that is in amsterdam. so we must go there again, for sure!
