  1. Awesome outfit! I love the bright color, and the kitty admiring you from behind. :)

  2. The dye job is fantastic, and I have to say a 100% improvement. I can’t even imagine you in off white. Not at all. Thanks for the dye info. I know a few people who overdye reclaimed yarn and are largely pleased with the results. I’m looking forward to seeing your dye + denim experiment.

  3. I must agree with you that off-white isn’t a good color, but the dye certainly took care of that problem.
Hopefully this isn’t creepy, but I saw you wearing your orange dress at the Capsule Design Street Festival this afternoon in front of Patxi’s Pizza. I wanted to say hi, but I was with friends and you had a crowd about you, so I didn’t get a chance. If you noticed a girl wearing bright red heels scoping you out, that was me. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the street fair–they had some really cool stuff this time.

  4. You totally revamp the outfit. great dye job!

  5. you are a vision! so gorgeous.

  6. rachel: oh no, that’s not creepy! haha, believe it or not, people say that kind of thing (that they spotted me) or come up and say hi…and it’s great. you should have said hello! i always love meeting cool people who are reading/from the web!

the street fair was neat, but i was feeling a bit tired/sick and strangely, not as into as i probably should have been! but i love that SF has cool little grassroots things happening like that. did you find or buy anything interesting?

  7. You look fantastic! I looove the orange dress. The belt just makes it all so perfect.

  8. Tricia, I did buy a few cool things, but I was also making a mental, “If money were no object” list. I also had my picture taken by a local street fashion blogger, http://www.fashioni.st/, although it’s not up yet. Hopefully you’ll feel less under the weather for the next Capsule event.

Given our shared affinity for thrift stores and craft/sewing projects, I wouldn’t be surprised if I spotted you again sometime. I’ll try harder to say hi if I see you!
