DanielleHappy belated Birthday, Red =) Your outfit is super cute!
The cardi-as-shrug reminds me of a girl I used to work with who would wear her cardis upside-down. It doesn’t work with all sweaters but it can be a really cute look. If the cardi has buttons you can have fun deciding which side of your neck you’re going to button down.

mollieI was looking at this photo yesterday, in mid-90’s heat, 70 some percent humidity, here in nyc- the kind of heat you just can’t escape. i look for the item of clothing that will provide the most air flow and leave the house without wearing a bra. I see men in union square wearing little shorty-shorts, and it was still 90 degrees at 10:30 pm when I got home. so i see this picture of you- scarf? really? bulky sweater? long jeans? it’s like you’re on a different planet.
ah, san francisco.

triciahaha, mollie! i know…i’ve been there (NYC summer heat, oy!). it’s been cold and gross and foggy and windy here for a couple weeks, which is as i gather typical summer in SF weather. allegedly it’s supposed to get warm next month, but it NEVER gets like the east coast, or anywhere else for that matter. it’s completely bizarro world.
danielle: that’s a GREAT idea. i love when people think outside the box, when styling themselves. awesome.

RebeccaHi! Happy belated birthday! Actually, it was surprisingly cool here yesterday and I was layering it up too.
I had heard of that upside-down cardigan thing before, but totally forgotten about it. Now’s definitely the time to give it a try! I’m going to go rescue one I biffed yesterday and give it a try. Thanks Danielle!
