  1. I LOVE this outfit! Happy bike riding :)

  2. I love this outfit! You always pick the juiciest colors– and color makes me so happy. The purple scarf that you are wearing actually reminds me of two purple dresses that I found at an estate sale just yesterday that, coincidentally, reminded me of you! You are truly one of the style muses for my new vintage and retro blog/shop, Thriftonista, and this outfit makes it so obvious why. Awesome.

  3. I think this is one of my favorite outfits of yours!

  4. Great outfit. Those necklaces would dress up any look!

  5. wendyb: funny you say that…when i was at parsons, my portfolio instructor said basically the same thing when i wore them with a similar outfit to class one day, he said they sort of took the whole look in a dressier direction. being so bold and gold, it’s little wonder. :)

  6. I just want to tell you that you are brilliant and I love your site.

  7. how on earth do you ride a bike in those clothes?! i have very specific clothing while riding requirements.

  8. jennifer: i ride a bike just fine in these clothes? what is so un-bike-rideable about them for you? have you ever been to europe? people wear all sorts of everyday things whilst riding their bikes. got to get from place to place right? :)

  9. i dunno; maybe it’s just my riding position. i must ride in flat shoes because i have toe clips, and it seems like everything’s either too tight or too loose. skirts are a no go, and i like jeans but the crotch will start to really hurt depending on what pair i’m wearing. also, tops become a problem with riding up etc, and the boobs are just this whole different issue.

obviously, though, it’s me. because who else could possibly be having this much trouble? haha.

  10. i love your shoes! found the exact pair in an oceanside thrift for $12, w/ tags and never worn. been a camper freak since. though they look much cooler on you than my ageing self!
