I love polyvore and have been using it to create fantasy/wish outfits that I'd never have the guts or occasion to wear in my everyday life. I've created styles that are completely in opposition to my personal style, but that I am visually drawn to. Another neat thing that I've done a little bit is create fantasy rooms with furniture rather than fantasy outfits with clothes. I've also seen a lot of awesome collage art made with polyvore, but haven't done it much myself. I love when people add nature photos and items like plants, or food, or record players that add to the atmosphere of the set. I did have a middle-school cheerleader bitch me out on one of my sets for being "stuck in the olden days" and choosing "fugly" items. I was a little shocked! I am going to add you.
