i’m obsessed with these jewels made from herkimer diamonds by abraxas rex. so obsessed, i have been rendered very nearly speechless, only really able to say: wow.

    I love Herkimer diamonds – they remind me of the seven dwarves’ diamond mine in Snow White, haha. The roughnesses of them is fantastic. I have a Herkimer diamond ring by Erica Weiner (http://www.ericaweiner.com/index.html), and I can never stop looking at it when I wear it. So pretty! Those earrings would make a perfect set…if only….

    These are lovely! I grew up near Herkimer and I have a little box of stones from my own scavenging. It was a popular school field trip to go to the mines. I keep the box with my jewelry. One day I will have something made from them. (Or so I have been saying for the past 25+ years!)
