over the long weekend, our little family took a little roadtrip out to lyman orchards, in middletown, ct, to pick peaches, apples and pears. we bought many, many pounds of each, and very soon, we're going to attempt to can some of them.
we also have a MOUNTAIN of cucumbers (not shown here) from our garden that need to be turned into relish and pickles.
we definitely have got our work cut out for us...haha!
anyone out there into canning? have any good recipes you'd care to share?
