maybe i am alone with this, but when it comes to bags, simple suits me best. though i've made exceptions (depending on overall design), i keep finding myself coming back to desiring totes that bear a minimum of detailing (or subdued ones) or detailing that makes sense and lets the materials (fine, preferably) speak for themselves. these simple, sumptuous leather totes by claire vivier fit the aforementioned, alluded to above bill. no superfluous hardware, no obnoxiously overdone details. just fine leather bags that do their duty, well and beautifully.
