favorite etsy sellers?

hey all!
i'm moving quite slow this week...busy trying to get things done and also still unbelievably fatigued! i am dreadfully behind with everything at my life at the moment and for now, posting is generally taking a back seat. hopefully things will return to normal soonish. :)
also, thanks again for the kind words concerning le future bebe. i read each and every one and appreciate all the warm words and advice. you guys are so friendly, and so fab. and that, my dears, is really an understatement! much love to all.

on another note:
i have a request that's especially directed at you who are fans and members of wardrobe_remix, and etsy!
what are your favorite etsy shops/sellers?
i have noticed that some wardrobe_remix(ers) mention etsy-sourced WEARABLES (THINGS YOU CAN WEAR, i.e. clothes and accessories) in their wardrobe_remix photo descriptions. i'm looking for suggestions for shops that have handmade clothing and accessories, not really so much vintage shops.
but that said, feel free to offer the latter if the latter is too amazing not to mention, if you know what i mean! i wanna hear it all.
the sooner the better...chime in today if you can, but do add a comment tomorrow and beyond if need be.
thanks!
ok, GO! :)

a little bit in my bobbin.

as some very astute readers have guessed, i'm with child. our little bit is due at the beginning of august (right around the birthday of both me *and* mr. royal!).

as you might expect, me and my husband are ridiculously happy about this happy impending event. it's still early; still a bit cautious, as one might guess. so far, so good.

dressing is already proving to be quite the challenge...but i'm determined to persevere and remain *me* aesthetically as much as is stylistically possible given my wardrobe restrictions. if i find i'm particularly successful in managing to dress my rapidly expanding figure on a given day, i may record the moment for posterity here and over at wardrobe_remix. but i'm not promising anything. *wink*

favorites + obsessions

faves, faves, and faves
(more on my flickr faves page)

stuff i've been obsessing over lately (just a few):

-reading woman: an intimate geography, by natalie angier. i bought it years ago but i'm re-reading it now. she has a rather poetic way of talking about the female body and it's biological, physiological, and psychological inner workings.

angier's writing style, cultural bent, and tone remind me of my friend and writer, ally, who lives in london and blogs at feral strumpet teatime/sticks and stings forever (she's a knitter too)

-wooden heeled shoes. this one has been going for a while. shoes just seem better when the heel is actually made of wood. seems traditional, earthy. me like.

-gumdrops and spicedrops. seeing the wreaths of such being made around the holidays on the intranets made me covet them badly, and i caved and made petey get some at the store a couple weeks back. mmm, sugary goodness.

-ripple blankets. i'm starting my own, using up yarn from my stash (which is the ultimate inspiration for such a project!), and using this pattern. i made a little swatch, will be getting started on the real thing this week, probably, if i can find the time.
